Hang Tuah and the Three Musketeers — Hang Jebat, Hang Kasturi, and Hang Lekir — defeat a band of bandits, earning them recognition in the eyes of Patih Karmawijaya. Their bravery leads to the four of them being appointed as the hulu balang (royal warriors) of the Sultan of Melaka. However, their rise to power stirs the jealousy of Patih Karmawijaya, a former court official who has been cast aside.
When the Sultan fails to win the hand of Tun Teja, the betrothed princess of Pahang, Hang Tuah secretly sets out to bring her to Melaka, driven by his unwavering loyalty to the Sultan. Tun Teja falls in love with Tuah and agrees to flee with him — unaware that he has not come for himself, but to bring her to the Sultan. Her broken heart is dulled by a magical betel spell.
Back at the palace, Patih Karmawijaya’s schemes finally bear fruit: Hang Tuah is accused of betraying the Sultan and sentenced to death. However, Datuk Bendahara secretly hides him away. Believing his best friend to be dead, Hang Jebat is consumed by rage over the Sultan’s injustice. He rebels and leaves the palace in ruins.
Hang Tuah is then ordered to return — to kill his own best friend.
In their final duel, filled with grief and regret, loyalty stands face to face with justice. Jebat falls by Tuah’s hand, leaving one question hanging in the air: who was truly right in this bloodshed?
A tale of courage, loyalty, and marwah — the honor and dignity that form part of the noble legacy of the Melayu people.
